This book by Franklin is comprehensive and clearly well researched.


See his index (I could perhaps post scans of specific models) and also some examples of his illustrations (also has lots of other details ref construction, fittings, harness, limbers etc).

First is from an Osprey book (drawing is 1864 but believed to be same as earlier models); others from Franklin.
