I've been racking my brain trying to remember who produced a mounted Gothic Knight,i think it was 54mm about 3-4 years ago roughly. The horse was in full armour, as was the knight.I nearly bought it when i first saw it but thought the horses legs were a bit spindly.Looking for it now though.
HELP
Brian
P.S. It's not the Seil one.

Been wracking what's left of my brains and can only come up with Seil's 54.
But in the true spirit of friendship here, at no cost, is the solution.
Buy the Andrea put it on the bench and stand very far away :D

Why did i not think of that:ROFLMAO:

Is it this one.

If so, I painted it, and it is from Seil Models. Unfortunaly no longer exist.

Castle Miniatures Brian the rearing horse with the rider hacking at someone with his axe.

Pete

Not any of them. The company who produced the mounted figure also brought out a 70/75 mm Knight hospitaller carrying a cross. He was bare headed and had big sticky out ears.

sorry Del,
But this is from Seil 54 mm.
But I have to admit they look very similar.

Marc

Must be my mistake Marc, II was certain that was the Andrea.
I thought that this below was the Seil Kit. I'd saved this image years ago, in fact I thought it was you who painted it.
Does anyone know who made the one below?

Sertail_Box_Sait.jpg I found it .It's by the Russian company Irbis miniatures.I nearly bought it when it first came out,but was put off with comments that the horse was too spindly to take that amount of armour.I still like it and it's still available, but at 90 euros plus postage i've come to the conclusion it's not worth it.
At least i've got the peace of mind that i found it,as it was doing my head in trying to find it.
Thanks lads for all your help.

People still think they used shire horses as mounts Brian. The medieval warhorse was more akin to a heavy hunter than a shire. As you can see the legs do look thinner than you would expect.

It's a real pity that the Irbis horse didn't have th size and structure of this fine beast.
It almost looks as if two different sculptors were involved, one for the knight and one for the horse. That would explain why I see them as slightly mismatched in scale.
90€ for a 54mm is really pushing it even for a mounted.

Can happen Del.
This is mine what I painted many years ago.
My first time I painted with MrMetal color. The paint that you can polish.
I was really satisfied at that time with the outcome.
