Can happen Del.
This is mine what I painted many years ago.
My first time I painted with MrMetal color. The paint that you can polish.
I was really satisfied at that time with the outcome.

Yeah that's the one I remember.
The one you originally posted was definitely the Andrea 90mm.
Both are cracking pieces and even 10 years on yours still holds its own against current work.

Easy to get mixed up over the years particularly if saved pictures don't have accompanying references.

It's a real pity that the Irbis horse didn't have th size and structure of this fine beast.
It almost looks as if two different sculptors were involved, one for the knight and one for the horse. That would explain why I see them as slightly mismatched in scale.
90€ for a 54mm is really pushing it even for a mounted.

The horse was sculpted by a different person than the figure Derek.Well spotted

Didn't Barton Miniatures produce a 80 mm Mounted Gothic Knight way back . Sorry i can't find an image .
chippy

Not at Barton but Almond Sculpture : AS/A12 German Prince in full amour, 1520
remember; Barton, Ceremonial, Almond Sculpture, some of Seagull 150mm and Under 2 Flags 90mm, it's the same sculptor :Richard Almond, allas died to young ( 1956-1989 )

View attachment 303682 I found it .It's by the Russian company Irbis miniatures.I nearly bought it when it first came out,but was put off with comments that the horse was too spindly to take that amount of armour.I still like it and it's still available, but at 90 euros plus postage i've come to the conclusion it's not worth it.
At least i've got the peace of mind that i found it,as it was doing my head in trying to find it.
Thanks lads for all your help.

Brian Irbis has a remarkable range but is one of the most expensive companies I know of.Sad because I like many of their products including this fantastic gothic knight who captured your imagination.

Oda.

There was also the 90mm size figure by Hinchliffe Models and latterly Caldercraft, then by Skytrex. Sculpted by Paul Knight.
Sorry can't find any images.
