Anyone have any idea where I could locate some Maurice Corry figures? It seems he has disappeared from the scene, and I had previously purchased some on e-Bay directly from him. I would love to locate the British soldier in Northern Ireland. I built several of his other kits, and really liked them. If anyone can help me, please let me know.

Hi Michael,
If you have a look on ebay at the the moment there is a guy called Andy Punshon selleing ex MC figures, I don't know if they are legit or not .
Cheers,
Jon.

a-punshon1979.
He has no kits for sale at the moment, but over the last couple of weeks has had 50+ kits for sale, including the Northern Ireland soldier. I picked up the 82nd Airborne figure for £25. It's possible that his supply was ex-shop stock and that now they are all gone. But I'm rather hoping that the seller has obtained the original masters, and that these excellent figures will be avaliable once more.

I think at one time everyone was looking for Maurice. I was lucky and got the British soldier in Northern Ireland from Maurice at Euro last year. He had made very few at that time and mine came unboxed as the boxes and photos were not ready.
As he vanished very shortly afterwards, I dont know where all these figures are coming from. Unless he has a cave in the woods with electricity for his casting machines.

When these Maurice Corry figures started to surface, the seller a punshon 1979 claimed they were given to him by Corry as payment for a debt!!!
It's a pity Corry didn't send me an 82nd airborne figure in return for the money I sent him.
Another interesting fact is that the seller lives in Coventry.

MC's figures are lovely....but..... I got mine off ebay but the casting was the worst I've ever seen for any resin figure. Full of holes and mismatches. Even if they weren't from original masters they are horrendous. I definitely would not recommend you getting any unless you are able to see them in person or are willing to be very patient in fixing them.
