Anyone know who the producer is, the scale, where I can get one?

Spike.

Spike,
I looked around on alot off websites from manufactures but couldn't find it.
I suppoos it is a very old figure. (it looks a Verlinden but i'm not sure)

I´ve been informed it´s an United Empires 120mm Resin of a Yorkist Archer of the Wars of the Roses. May be out of production now. I´ll e-mail UE and see if they have one.
If anyone does find one, I´m very interested in trying my hands on this one.
(Not too much flesh being an advantage for a newbie!)

Spike,

That figure is up for auction on ebay right now...

UNITED EMPIRE Yorkist Archer 120mm, resin

Item number: 150161561655

Go to Toys and Hobbies.... Models.... Military... figures, then type in 120mm and hit search. Change the categories to newest listed and it about 5 down on the newly listed page.

Or type in the item number and hit search.

Good luck!!

Wow, that´s what I call timing...

Thanks, guys!

A painted figure isn´t what I was interested in, but will be better than nothing.

John Lea at United Empire Miniatures was kind enough to get back to me very quickly with a reply clarifying that although not "Discontinued" the figure needs re-moulding and that may not happen for quite a while...

Thanks again for the help.

I´ll let you know if I get lucky.

Spike.

Spike,

If you can get a hold of a bottle of Windsor & Newton's Brush Cleaner & Restorer from an arts store... it will take the paint off of dang near anything. Very useful for those occasions of buying the partially painted figures sometimes found on E bay.

Good luck,

Kevin D.

Thanks for that tip, Kevin.

I know resin can be difficult to strip and will definitely make a bid for the kit on the last say and try this.

Much appreciated.

Spike.

Lost it... at the very last second!

Still, it went for more than the market price even though it ought to be stripped and re-primed.

Thanks to everyone who helped, anyway, especially Kevin.

Spike.

Sorry! I'll keep my eyes open. I hit ebay regularly. It took three losses before I got the ALmond Polish Winged Hussar (and two years, come to think of it  )
