Latest painting project just finished: a bust of Lt.-Col. “Joe” Vandeleur as portrayed by actor Michael Caine in the 1977 film, “ A Bridge Too Far”. It’s in 1/9 scale from Mitches Military Models, painted up in the usual oils and acrylics. Whether it ended up looking like Caine I leave up to you but the raw sculpt sure looked like him - perhaps I should just call mine, “Officer, Irish Guards, Sept. 1944”
