Just came across this, a full figure depicting Lt.Col. John Frost, as he would have appeared at the drop zone with his hunting horn.
I like it, and I'll get it, but I would like others opinion on the figure in the picture. It looks like it's not been put together right. The holster and the ammo pouch are supposed to be one item, am I right? And there seems a flat spot above his belt, where something should go? I'm also not sure about how the webbing straps run on his back, they certainly are not fitted as they should be. I understand that Frost, as all officers, jumped in full battle dress, including the ammo pouches, and that any map cases etc would be carried on their own straps.
There is another para on Mitches site, with the flamethrower, as seen on the Arnhem bridge...
God, this is going to be an expensive month....
