Very nice figure, looks well turned out for the madness that followed, yeah I like this.

Cheers Simon

it's the same one re-edited.
We acquired the production rights of Il Feudo(y)

That's good to know. Thank you for informing us.
It's nice to see some of the older figures making it back on the market.:)

Cheers,
Andrew

With the Alamo being such an important and iconic battle in American history, it surprises me that it's been largely overlooked by figure companies over the years.

Besides this one, the only other one I can think of off the top of my head is a vignette depicting two of the defenders by (I think) Reedees that came out maybe 10 or more years ago but I believe is now OOP. And I'm not aware of any Mexicans at all.

Also the year was 1836, not 1835 as stated on the box.

I can remember some polythene/plastic figures produced by Marx many years ago, at the time of the Davy Crockett craze . They were sold in Woolworth's, if memory serves. I had quite a few, and there were some Mexican types among them. Nostalgia, eh ?

I would certainly like to see some figures in 75mm. in some action poses, including Mexican troops. And, yes, the thirteen day siege was in February and March, 1836.

I.F. have been defunct for years but these guys now own the rights to the range, so it's fully legit.

Thanks Steve, exactly.
We try very hard to bring old figures back onto the market and always re-propose them in metal.
But we are sure that our efforts will pay off;)

Keith Durham did a 75mm Davy Crockett meany years ago can’t remember who for though. And Mike french did some in 120mm I think he did Traves, Crockett and Bowie. Again back in the late 80s I do believe.

Not seen any Mexican figures though.
