Hi guys  !
I recently bought for myself the new 1/35 scale "Camionetta AS 42 Sahariana" WW2 Italien "jeep" from Italeri and was inspired to sculpt a new set of crew figures for it. This is No. 1 in the set. The usual epoxy putty / paper-clip technique was used for the construction of the figure. Scale is 54mm. The figure's head came from Model Victoria, the hands from Hornet, the feet from Historex. The pet monkey was scrounged from a Wolf figure and resculpted / detailed to fit. The figure is wearing a tropical Sahariana jacket, roll-neck sweater, tropical breeches and scratch-bulit Saharan sandals. The " magazine " the figure is " reading " was scanned from a book on the Afrika Korps and reduced on the computer and printed. I had lots of fun building the figure and am working on No. 2 at the moment. Thanks for looking and cheers !
