Hi Dave,
Nice as always, I envy your patience and will power to undertake such projects. Excellent job on the figs. I would prefer more torn up dirt, etc... but as they say " make your own and you can have it anyway you want!" :LOL:
One technical nitpick that you may or may not care about. The cowl/access covers for the engine were held open with a prop rod for servicing, they aren't spring loaded or hydraulic (that I am aware). So they probably couldn't stay open as shown.

Jason, where have you been matey, really good to hear from you. Thanks for your input and you are spot on! It's the artistic licence applied as I wanted to show the engine detail, the idea is that it has flipped open upon impact and with a slight buckle to the hinge has remained open.

As for the dirt, well as I have already said, I have tons of reference photos and they show no torn up dirt at the point where the 109 has come to a rest so that's what I decided to go with.

All helpful stuff as always mate and look forward to hearing from you again soon.
