La Meridiana, BFR-02

  • Sculpted by Carles Vaquero
  • Painted boxart by Danilo Cartacci
  • Material: Resin with white metal accessories
  • 1:10 scale bust; actual height 73mm (from base of pedestal to top of head not including base supplied)
  • No. of pieces: 4 resin, 5 metal
This resin bust comes in a cardboard box, wrapped securely between two foam blocks. It comes with a single boxart image of the piece with additional written references and painting guide inside the box although the text is in Italian. ( However we have and do provide translations on request for all of* La Meridiana’s kits). The resin casting is in a tan/beige colour and the casting and sculpting is very clean and sharp with negligible clean-up required. The accessory pieces are in white metal which are also very crisp and clean castings, requiring minimal clean up.* All the parts fit together very well. The bust also comes with an attractive little wooden base.

Assembly: The head fits perfectly onto the body with two plug holes (see images) . The back hair piece with feathers which sits at the back of the head is the only piece of this kit that needs some minor attention as this has a very small casting block (bottom image) but this is really minor job and can be cut away to achieve a perfect fit. You can easily identify this piece by the smooth flat surface which sits at the top of the scalp. As for the rest of the kit, the pipe fits snugly into a plug hole. The metal parts (hair and accessory pieces) either fit neatly into plug holes or fit snugly onto the side of the hair and face.
