Another one fantastic creation of Maurizio Bruno related with the known top quality painting of Danilo Cartacci...!!!

Clearly a stunning piece beautifully rendered which would grace any collection. Too
many 'limited edition' restrictions with ordering, and predictable EU conditions against
non-members like the the UK, means that I shall have to give it a miss...shame

No restrictions, I can also ship a single piece to England, of course the edition is limited in time, I can't stock up for some model makers who decide in 6 months that they like to make a flag bearer :) . I'm sorry

My daughter and son-in-law live in the UK. Therefore I have now gathered some experiences about shipping goods outside the EU - after initial problems obviously no longer a problem now. The EU itself has set next to no conditions against the export of goods to the UK, shipping costs have increased to some extend and you have to list up the contents of your shipment in a customs declaration - that`s it.

So what does this mean ?

Mike

PS ....meant to ask before -what's the cost?

it means that it would be preferable to make a collective package, but if a modeller has no possibility to do so then he can also order 1 - i send you one private message

Small makers are all doing this- making to known orders. It’s a pain to eventually miss out, but reduces risk and keeps the new issues coming. Vs capital tied up in inventory..the quality here way surpasses the offerings of many better known, larger makers for casting, resin ..and one on one link to guy producing the thing.

I have ordered all the pieces so far and no issues with payment or any EU custom charges etc, all very straight forward and helpful with maurizio.

A positive aspect to his pieces- they don’t have unrealistic embossed stuff on flags or delineating tartans etc ..one paints in scale without guides ...

I would'nt worry about ordering from sellers in Europe from the UK. Keep the value of your order under the GBP135 limit, the seller has to complete and attach a customs form to your package. I bet they love doing this. I received a small order from Art Girona in Spain a couple of weeks ago. It took under a week to arrive and the postage cost was the same as it was last year. Good luck.

I endorse everything that has been said above. The key is to keep the total value of the shipment under £135 in order to avoid additional charges. I have bought from both Maurizio and Piersergio Allevi recently and the goods have arrived within 7 days of posting. In both cases I have banded together with a couple of friends to make a shipment of 2 or 3 figures instead of 1, which saves the seller some time queuing at the Post Office and filling in customs forms.

You can buy with absolute confidence.
