I like it a lot. Something different to all historic periods that are worked out a thousend times.
A wanna have for me!

It really can't portray a historical figure as cast...the sergeant chevron is not accurate and the figure, dressed in 1860's- 1870's uniform has belt loops and a belt to hold up his trousers. These sartorial developments came in the 1920's. Now, as the comic book character portrayed or a fantasy piece, he looks great. But he's not a historical piece.

A beautiful piece of work from both a sculpting and painting perspective. However, I'm with Al on this one.... glaring historical errors will mean a pass for me. It would have been so easy to take the inspiration from the comics but make the corrections with a little research

This is a really nice piece and I am impressed by it. Ok, it may not be historically accurate but things can be altered by the buyer with a craft knife, some glasspaper and a bit of putty. If the purists want it more accurate a little work makes it more interesting. If the comic fans like it as it is, so be it.
