Hello guys,

Do you know where in Europe I can order fresh magic sculpt, and also micro balls, suitable for high temperature for 75mm sculptures (for the eyes)?
Thank you!

Georgi

Hi Georgi

I usually buy my Magic Sculpt from El Greco in the UK
Hope that helps
Paul

Thank you Paul, but UK now is outside of EU and if I order something, I may get taxed. Well I am not sure... , actually does someone have a clue about this situation?

Hello Ryan,
Basically the Magic Sculp will be VAT free leaving the UK. If the item is under €22, then there should be no import VAT or duties to pay. Magic Sculp is relatively cheap so you should not be taxed, unless of course you buy a lot!!
For Bulgaria, according to the Customs authorities / postal authorities site,
- Order up to €22 = no VAT/duty
- Order from €22 = €150 - VAT only + Administration charge €7.00
- Order over €150 = VAT + duly + Administration charge €7.00

Hope this helps, any questions let us know. You can find the Magic Sculp here: Magic Sculp – El Greco Miniatures Ltd.

Regards,
Matt

Thank you Matt,

I will order from El Greco, last time when I ordered from Green Stuff World, the quality of the putty was not so good. Nevermind ...

Thanks for the help, guys! :)

Here is a supplier in Spain for magic sculpt Magic Sculpt - Green Stuff World Shop
For the eyes you can use steel ball bearings, you can get them in any size from about 1mm to very large, you might have to search some engineering or hobby suppliers to find them in Europe or locally.
Cheers
Steve

Here's another vote for Green Stuff World. I've ordered from them several times from here in the U.S. and always had great service.

Answering your questions below Kev:

Hi everyone

Without wishing to get political in anyway or wishing to come away from Ryan's question

The Admin charge ......

is that set by companies or the government ? - The administrative charge is set by the postal authority. For ex. in the UK, Royal Mail charge around £8.50, Parcelforce £12.50, UPS £11.50, so all different, depending how they cost the additional administration required to process the customs charges.

Is it a legal requirement ? - Don't think it's a legal requirement.

is it the same irrespective of country ie: £7 - No, it varies from country to country and depending on postal authority too.

Ref Magi sculpt .....I buy from El Greco being in UK - Here's a cheeky thumbs up for that (y)

Cheers
Matt
