as i said jugoslavia.i did read this with kuba in an osprey man at arms maybe i rembered wrong.in any case the helmet shown here from wikipedia is the right one.
in any case an nice hemet and the figure sculpted with the correct reserach could have been an real feast for the eye.this more because the sculptur knows his job very well,the result could be described as mix of historic as fiction.i would think of it like an SS grenadier done in an pink smoke with blue dots on it.....maybe this is more obvious but both have in common that they are simply not correct.
anyway the painter did make an nice piece of it-miles better than i could have done.

This is from Ospray Warrior 009 and the same helmet is in Osprey Men-at-arms 247. Berkasovo is in Vojvodina, Northen Serbia.
There is river Kupa in Slovenia, maybe some other thing was found there.
