If a full-spectrum or daylight bulb is worth having it shouldn't make much odds painting under daylight Ron. Anyway, daylight's great in theory, but it varies so much it's not all it's cracked up to be as the lightsource.Go for a daylight bulb ,but try also to paint under natural daylight especially for flesh tones...
Since lots of modellers have to do the majority of their painting at night they don't have a choice as it is, and there's a lot to recommend using consistent lighting even if it's not the best quality - doing half the painting under one light and the other half under another is a recipe for disaster as a lot of us have learned the hard way
How many of us live in Provence?! Oh and there's a ghostly procession of Dutch masters outside wanting a word...Ask yourself this , why did the old masters like to to paint in Provence . Its the quality of the daylight
