I found this Figure somewhere one a table on a exhibition.
The Figure is 120 mm tall in resin from Black sheep Miniatures. The firm don't exist no longer.
I don't make much soldiers, but this wan is special and need to be painted.

Looking good. Nice start to the dennison smock.

I believe Blacksheep were part of Stormtrooper and this figure was released as a limited number but was issued later slightly altered (minus the umbrella I believe)

Peter.

I love what you've done with the smock (y)

His neck and the curve of his back look a bit odd to me but I can't quite put my finger on why. He has a bit of a "Max Wall" look about him, more evident in the third and last photos so maybe it's just the angle of the shot.

I look forward to seeing this one progress :)

Can I ask what paint brand and color you used for the pants? I rather like what you achieved there and I struggle immensely with Battle Dress colors.

Has the figure been tacked together temporarily with blue tack for the photo :cautious: If the head was just slightly deeper into the collar it would look right.

Great start Jan, the smock is looking great (y)

Tanks, i have changed the position of the head and started with painting it.
For the pants i used English uniform 70921 model color from AV vallejo, for the highlights the basic color + light flesh 70928 and for the shadows the basic color + cam Black brown 822.
I paint all my figures with acrylics

Hi Jan,
I did the figure too. I thought the face not that good and hard to paint in a right order.
The denison smock on this figure is not correct. The stitching on the back shouldn't be there. This was of one piece of cloth.

The baret was a more red blue tone (violet)

Furthermore, have fun on painting this one.

Here some pictures to explain what I mean.

Looking good so far Jan!

Foxwood Figures recently posted on here that they've bought this figure from Stormtroopers and are re-releasing it.

Well heck Jan, I'd say ya rapped this one up just right. What a trippy lookin fig, to say the least, but WOW, ya made an incredible run of it and it came out quite spectacular like, awesome job buddy!

Cheers, Ski.

Looks great.

Stormtrooper released a figure that was an Arnhem Para - this is a re release with head and brolly changed. I have the original figure.

The last two days i build a display for the Figure.
I have made a plate from supersculpy and cut it into bricks, glued them together and put them on the basis plate. From the rest i have made shut and gravel and put this also on the display.
The big wooden bar is made of styrodur and carved with a metal peace, the shelf are brocken wooden spoons. Now some Gesso on it, and a lot of painting to do one it.
