I have some of the snow coat that Leigh mentioned. Not used yet but have a project I might test it on.
It's a finely ground clear acrylic substance; the idea is it is not round but angular and creates more reflections.

Small Shop were selling it at Trucks n Tracks earlier this year......looked very suspicious - fine white powder in plastic bags (especially if you were taking it through customs).

I'll let you all know how I get on

I use powdered alum for snow, it doesnt yellow with age and you can build it up in to thick layers using p.v.a. glue. It's available in chemists.

Thanks to all you guys.

I bought some baking powder. But the pure one in the chemistry. I was a lot off fun to get it.
The first chemistry didn't sell it because they say it was not allowed to sell stuff for making pills :angry: . By the law of the Netherlands and the European Government . The second chemistry asked how many grams i wanted.
They give 100 gram for nothing. And that all in the same town. :lol:
Anyway, i hope the weather is not so good this weekend :lol: than i can finished my groundwork thanks to you.
