making water

I'm working on the vignette "Moments in Time". Any clue how to do the water that's part of the base??

Hi Jeff ! Try using 5-minute Epoxy,tinted with a little bit of acrylic paint for some "colour".That's what I did with my scratchbuilt version of the vignette.HTH.

I am working on the same vignette Jeff and I plan to use 5 minute epoxy as Kenneth states but without the tint so you can see through the water to the painted creek bed under it. The creek bed would be painted just like the rest of the base.

ENVIROTEX is a 2 part epoxy resin that I've used and can highly recommend. You can find it in most hobby/craft stores.

Thanks for the heads up, guys. I heard that Envirotex is good, but was worried about head with the resin base. I thought about several coats of future, but don't think that would really work out too well.

I did the creek base a sort of brown, and the rocks grey/brown/green. Any other suggestions?
