Breeches basically done. I will play wth the lace a bit more with inks and highlighting but it won’t change a lot.

Sheesh, that's a lot of gold work, Colin, wow! The shadows and highlights all over are excellent, beauty! That is a pretty cool red tone, btw.

Looks like I missed a few updates, all caught up and suitably impressed seeing him develop. Loving the gold lace and play of light across his dolman. The lacing on the thighs is amazing.

Thanks Steve. Still playing with his boots & groundwork. Doesn’t help that I lost his sabre hand guard for an hour.
The lace work looks amazing, and the whole figure is coming together very nicely.

That’s a lovely piece of painting, the golds and reds really look the business, groundwork work well , liking the bits of paper/documents strewn about
