Mamluk Bust

I'm a new member and this is my first post. I'm still learning on both the painting and my digital photography.

This is Verlinden's 200 mm Napoleonic Mamluk bust. It was painted in oils. It was a lot of fun to paint - the face has great character and expression.

I'm open to any comments or suggestions on what I can do to improve my work.

i think you have done a nice work to bring out the character of the bust. The only thing i would ask more, would be some more metal work on the pistol.
