Manchester Regiment Helmet

Hi Guys ,

I am nearly finished the Mad Jack bust from RP Models , the helmet is currently plain....


My question.................

Is it feasible that on the helmet there could have been the Manchester Fleur de Lye painted on a darker green background .

I have seen pictures somewhere of helmets of the regt with this on in this period but now can't find them

others seem to have them ?

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
