Hi everyone.
This is my latest.200mm Bonapartes Marcellin Marbot.
Oils over acrylic metallic's acrylic.
Pic's washed out a bit, but in reality you can see the shading very well.

Neat work Ralph! Tidy work on all the details.

Small bit of constructive criticism: his teeth a very white. Maybe a subtle filter with yellow ocre, darkening it a bit with burnt umber towards the corners of the mouth will do the trick, but keep it subtle! Unless you're already working on the next one!

I'll keep in mind about the teeth,what you say makes sense to me.I did try using a light grey to shade them but I think your way sounds so much better.
My wife Paula kept on saying he's an advert for toothpaste:D.

As the others have said mate, very clean and neat painting, i really like it, your gold work is very good as well (y)
