Hi,
Now on my bench: Marie Laveau from Pedro Fernandez. The figure is cast in just one piece, so carefull planing is needed for painting it.
I used colours from Kimera (K), Pro Acryl (PA) and AK 3rd gen (AK)
Red - (K) The Red, Pumpskin, Deep Rusto; (PA) Orange Red; (AK) Ice Yellow
Green - (PA) Dark Yellow Green; (K)Deep Rusto, Kiwi Brown; (AK) Ice Yellow
Base for Yellow - (K) Kiwi Brown

Thanks for watching
Pedro

Hi Pedro

What a interesting subject to paint “Voodoo Queen of New Orleans” ......a life full of magic and good to look up

Great start on this , thanks for sharing the work so far especially the colours

Liking the lining on the dress

Look forward to more especially the frog/toad and that snake

Pedro,
I too admire the straightness of the lines on the material of her dress, the python's [?] patterning, and the 'evil' eye that the toad is giving me!! Superb. Really waiting to see which colours are used for her skin and the techniques employed......I've still got an awful lot to learn in these areas, but enjoying every moment....just started on my 6th bust figure.
Thanks for sharing.
Kim

Thak you guys. Your words really make me very happy.
The skin (some work still to do on the eyes):
(K) - Black Skintone, Middle Brown, Shiny Skintone, Pale Carmine Red, Gold 79
(PA) - Burnt Sienna, Advanced Flesh Tone
