WIP Marine Commando Bust 1/12,Afghanistan

Hello All,
Things have slowed down abit with the festive Season ,however made a start on a Modern bust depicting a Royal Marine Commando in Afghanistan.
I found images on a site called Defenceimages or something .uk.
This photo interested me because as a bust the angle is quite different from the usual front on bust you would normally see.The Bust is turned to one side calling to an unseen collegue lending more to the pose.
He will wear also wear body armour too.

Ahhhhhhh yet again, another Modern subject to add to my collection.

Very interesting pose, definitely what we usually see in busts... but I like it! Good to see more modern stuff from you Andy.

Andy a great start, the pose of the bust makes it less static looking and gives it that sense of impending action. Are you going to add a rifle in his left hand.

Great pose and sense of movement. I think I recall the photo and the Marine is manning a .50 cal HMG and in the rush to man his weapon is wearing just Osprey body armour and no shirt (?)
