Found this Masterbox kit pretty inexpensive and decide to give it a try.

It went together well, but it needed more detail so I added an old Men at Arms bow case, a necklace a knife from a plastic toothpick and some Historex braid for braids.

The tall grass was a first try, amazingly it worked.

Nice, there are not many pictures around of these models completed. I did wonder about the detail and anatomy but they don't look at all bad for the price.

Masterbox are doing some pretty nice kits in a range of scales. They tend to do stuff out of the norm and I am building their Centaur and 'Don't Even think about it, Jacqueline' kit as a practice. I would argue that whilst no Historex, some of their kits are pretty detailed. It, as ever depends on what kit you buy. I am looking at their Ukrainian Defence Soldier kit at the moment, I may make it to show solidarity.

Hi there Steven

Great to see what's on the bench and a good find , proving modelling doesn't have to be expensive!

The figures come out good and you obviously enjoyed the painting and basework
