Paulo, very nice work, I was going to make the comment that his left hand looked unnatural, however then realised it was hanging in a sling . What material have you used and what is the scale . I Look forward to seeing him painted.

Cheers Ken

Hi Paulo,

Firstly welcome to Planet Figure and thank you for sharing pics of your sculpting.

I like the idea behind your piece, but the rifle seems to be over-scale for the figure.

Hello Paulo:

Like Tony, I want to sincerely welcome you to Planet Figure. And thank you
for posting this most eye appealing figure. You do very good work. I will be
eager to see pictures of it when you have it painted.

Again, welcome aboard,

Welcome Paulo and nice work on the sculpting and great start to the painting, a French Nap sailor isnt something you see very often, very nice subject.

Steve(y)

Hello steve , thanks for the comments, is true thet wee don`t see often french Nap sailors, thats why I choose this one. I spent five years in the Portuguese Marines Corp
and left me a special like for Navy uniforms, there some very interesting in deed !

Thanks guys is allways nice to ear nice words, once finished i`ll atack one figure from the English civil wars , and shell post it here, ok !!

Quite a superb figure. One small point: cigarettes did not appear until the Crimean War, when soldiers started wrapping their tobacco in cartridge paper. Until then, tobacco was chewed or smoked in a pipe.............

Happy modelling.

Mike

hoops !! (for the cigarret) I wasn`t really shore about it, next time i shell pay attention to those kind of things, anyway thanks !!
