90mm Foot: Glenn Hamilton - Canada

75mm Foot: Clinton Lammas - England

54mm Foot: Periklis ?? Greece

Congratulations to each of you and thank you to all those who entered or contributed to the spirit of this event. Guys please do share with us your thoughts on what Pegaso MedRom foot figure you will be choosing and why. We'd also be keen to hear news about it when it turns up in the mail and even better your individual projects as you start to paint them up.

We are naturally indebted to the Pegaso team (Luca, Pietro and Andrea) for their support and they will be in direct contact with each of the winners about their prizes. I will be looking at opportunities to build this relationship with Pegaso, so as modellers we can better understand the highs and lows of making a living from this niche hobby of ours, as well as hopefully some of the secrets behind what has made Pegaso one of the premiere brands in our world today. So do stay tuned...

Kind regards and thanks from all of us here at MedRom,

Mike (on behalf Dr Mike and Gary)

Thanks Guy! And may I just add...WOOHOOO! :lol: Seriously, I didn't think my posts were anything spectacular, and entering didn't take any time at all really. So I would encourage all the planteers here to get in on the Seil miniatures contest.

In the mean time, I have promised the folks at the MedRom forum I would post some in-progress pics of my prize, which is Pegaso's 90mm Japanese Samuri with Nagiitana, released just a few months ago. I promise to share with all of my friends here as well. That way you guys can make sure I don't make a hash out of this figure.

Cheers;

Have always been scared off from this figure as I felt never do the wonderful sculpting justuce with my brush so this is the push I need to have a go.
Many Thanks to Mike and also Luca and his team of busy elves at Pegaso!
Clinton

Clinton:

I did that one last year, sold it, and liked it so much that I bought a second one. It's a beauty! I would recommend doing some careful planning and pre-painting of parts before assembly, and it should turn out perfectly for you. Just don't leave the parts lying around for too long like I did, I lost the dagger for him, and now need to do a complete search of the disaster I call a studio :angry: Good luck on him.

Glenn

Sorry Djordje, it wasn't that kind of contest. All we had to do was submit a few posts on the MedRom forum, explaining our experiences with Pegaso figures. The folks who run that forum, picked the best posts and we were awarded a free figure. Pretty sweet eh?
