Steve, I did think the same thing but also am happy with the way she is peering through the snakes, looks quite seductive. it also remindes me of an afro hairdo in my opinion.

When seeing the review casting of this figure I was unsure about those snakes masking her face too much to be honest but I can honestly say now seeing the painted version that the sculptor has got it just right, the eyes peering through those hanging snakes work really well and add a nice dimension to this piece.

your painting has really brought it to life and the work on the snakes alone are great, for me the way you have done the eyes are my favourite thing about it, excellent job all round.

Yep I will add a semi gloss sheen to them and a high gloss for the eyes. I will also add some saliva for the main snake around her upraised arm. Hope to get onto that in the next week or so.
