Any recognition for the men and women who fought for their countries is important and to be respected. A memorial to a small group of individuals (from another country no less) reminds us that every action and sacrifice of every individual, in a conflict of millions, must be remembered and recognized. For this town in England to memorialize a group of 7 Canadians for their sacrifice, 1000's of miles from home, they should be applauded. As a Canadian, I appreciate when our allies show this kind of respect to my countrymen, even if I, myself, am separated from their actions by a couple of generations... reading that article still fills me with a sense of pride.
