Hello Folks

Sculpted for me in 120mm by Carl Reid is this latest Waterloo diorama. This one depicts General Cambronne with soldiers of the Old Guard at the closing stages of the battle. It was inspired by several paintings based on the scene.

The six figure set will be available soon and later on the figures will be available individually.
Price for the 6 x figure set is £180.00 which includes scenic base and worldwide shipping.
Prices of the individual figures will be announced once available.

I am taking pre - orders for the full set and if anyone is interested then please contact me on [email protected]
Once cast I will send you an invoice.
Not available on any website at the moment.

Cheers
Gordon

Stunning!!! This is one of Carl's best to date. How are you going to top this one Gordon?

Hi Guys

Well this is rather nice , another very marketable release , sure it will be popular ...and very impressive painted up ....Heavan knows what Gordon will rekease for Euro Expo !!

Good to see they will be available separate ..particularly like the 2 at the front together one holding the other .......could easily be a stand alone piece

Thanks for sharing

How about something from the Sudan War ?

Stunning but too expensive for me, a pensioner (sniff). Merde, as Cambronne said.

Jeff

I know what you mean Jeff but to put it in perspective it still works out at less than £30.00 per figure with free worldwide post and a large scenic base. I will be releasing them individually at around the £35.00 mark which also includes free post. I'm always open to dignified haggling when I attend model shows and like to think my fellow modellers always get a good deal from me. In fact some have started using a 'getaway car' when they leave my stand. lol

From these first pictures, this looks an absolute corker of a set;- Carl and Gordon have come up with another winner. I don't usually do anything outside of 75mm to 90mm, but I might seriously have to reconsider my challenge levels.

Alan
I'll have some at Figureworld Alan.

I love the look of this, especially the composition of the group. I will have to check my finances and see if it's possible to smuggle this into the house somehow. Is there any estimate on the timeline involved?

Hello
I'm casting orders today but am off to Arnhem for a weeks break on Monday. On my return I will be catching up on all pre orders so should have some more full sets available by the end of the month. I am looking to release the single figures for Figure World in the middle of July. I'm still taking pre orders for the full sets which will be invoiced once cast.

Absolutely stunning, another superb piece from Carl.
Can't wait to see it up close at Expo.

Malc

I hope to have all the Waterloo sets at Euro this year Malc. They'll either be on the MMM stand or RDG Miniatures hopefully with some new EME show releases.

95th Rifles in the sandpit at La Haye Saint........just saying......

What a great idea Jim. I must confess it's not one I'd even considered but a worthy candidate. Off the top of my head I can't remember seeing and paintings of this.

Thanks Kev
Victorian era subjects are great but I personally still favour Waterloo topics.
