Hey guys, I started this about 3/4 months ago, but lost my mojo with him. A great figure, with lots of painting challenges.

He looks good, well done on getting him finished. It is a complex piece with the different materials and textures to show, as you say lots of challenges.

He's looking good. I've just been reading Faber du Faur's account of the 1812 campaign and it includes a drawing of Murat in one of his fantastic outfits. This one really captures that character.

You certainly pick challenging pieces. I understand the lack of mojo I think it happens to all of us. I just put it to one side and do something else for a while therefore I usually have half a dozen or so on the go to help counter this.
All being said another well executed piece. One observation though, is his sword the correct way round? it looks back to front to me.
Congrats
Melanie

Hi Anthony

That looks a complicated piece so well done on the completion after the regain of mojo

Like the green and the work on the horse

Thanks for sharing

Happy benchtime with mojo

Thanks for the support, Melanie. That's exactly what I did, I stuck him out of sight for about 2/3 months. I suppose we all have our own methods of countering the dreaded Mojo Loss. The trick is to recognise it and deal with it before it ruins your work. The sword is right - the side that's against the body has a locating lug that fits into a hole in the torso...
