Excellent bust witha face full of character, but the top of the czapska looks somewhat squat: more Prussian than British (see http://www.militaryfigures.co.uk/pages/product.aspx?category=15500&page=1&product=12194).

The 21st Lancer Cap is the right size for the bust.It is a model 1900 the caps were smaller at this period. Your link below is for a 1837-40 model this is a much larger cap than worn in 1900.

The only known 1837-40 British 17th Lancer cap is on display in the Cramer Museum.
