To be more specific, people are welcome to go to open painting at Michigan Toy Soldier every Thursday at the time listed, but there is a official meeting/painting of the club figure class once a month. Michigan Toy Soldier's event section on their web site will list the official meeting dates.

As mentioned above, a figure is chosen every year to be the club figure and that figure is included when the club dues are paid. Generally a figure is picked that can be painted many different ways and yet some of the guys go a step further and do wacky conversions or paint jobs on them. It's a lot of fun to see the variations of the club figure. The club figure is also the subject for painting classes taught by Dave Youngquist during the official meeting nights.

The president changes from time to time. Right now Bill Ebensperger is pres. Chris Georgeson is secretary/treasurer. It's a laid back, casual group and the meetings center around painting classes or working on other projects or shopping.

Twice a year the club is given space at the Michigan Historical Collectibles Show.

I have no idea about the history of the club prior to 2004.
