"Think of England"

Indeed, think of England and the troubled times the UK is facing at the moment. The lock down, families being apart during this season that is supposed to bring people together, the isolation and the hardship. What is to happen in the next months? When will the vaccine arrive? When will our loved ones be together again...
When we did the first raffle most of us believed that this pandemic would be over by this time of the year, that most of us would have resumed our normal lives again.
Little did we know.
These raffles are to bring hope, joy and inspiration to a world that has been turned upside down, a world that has for a moment separated a lot of people.
We want to bring all of us closer again, to create a feel that you are not alone. We stand together, we fight together and we will persevere together.
This raffle is dedicated to all of you living in the UK, as well as to all the people around the world that needs a spark of hope during this dark period of our lives.

And what could be more fitting than this figure of a Lifeguard Trooper at Waterloo, an amazing figure sculpted by Grieve and cast in resin to perfection by Graham Scollick and painted by Mike.
Now this 100 mm figure is quite fragile and difficult to ship securely, so the lucky winner will have to pick it up at a show next year. Mike will attend several shows, so that this will be possible to arrange in one or another.
By now you know the drill guys, you just send Mike your name and country and you are in!

And on January 1st we will draw a lucky winner!
A great start to a New Year that will hopefully bring better times for all of us.
So enter the raffle, have a lovely Christmas and Happy new year.
And may the best of your past be the worst of your future.

We wish you a great Christmas and and an even better New Year!!
Steve and Mike

Happy Christmas to all and a great idea Steve

This looks like the same figures in Mike’s new book?

I have several of David’s 100mm Classics figures but sadly not this one! Are they available anywhere or anyone want to part with theirs?

Wish he was still making them; they truly are “classics” IMO.

Dear friends around the world. We hope you had a great new years eve, even though it might have been a slightly more quiet party than usual...
But lets look forward to a New Year with new possibilities, new hope and better health for all of us. And to attend a show! Or two! Or three!
The past winners of our raffles have come from the UK, Canada and the US. This time the winner of this raffle comes from the Netherlands.
Congratulations to Sander van der Does!
And Steve and I will continue to do these raffles. If we can bring a little light and to help raise our spirits we will surely have another one. You can count on that!
Have a great first day of this new year, stay safe, keep healthy and paint a figure or two.
Steve and Mike

Hi Chris,
I do have the full 100mm range, which Graham at CGS used to produce, and I have a few casting of each kit in stock. Send me a PM if you want to know more as they are not on my website as yet.

Regards
