Hi planeteers,
2 books on flat figures.
The book in english has only a very small tear at the top to the coast of the book ( I can send a photo).
The book in german is like new.
Note that is not the same book but they are different.

If you want to see these you need to be a lot more realistic on price...you might get lucky but I doubt it.

While price is your prerogative a copy of The Art of the Flat Tin Figure sold on Ebay a couple of weeks ago for £32..the maximum I have seen is £75 some time ago....so asking 199 Euros is pie in the sky!

They are only worth what others are willing to pay for them the art is to find someone who pays the most. I am curious about some one who values a book at 300 each, I wonder if they would buy it...

The conseil of "expert" of flat figure was wrong, also if Amazon (he said) sell the english version at 316 euros.....

He is not wrong about Amazon, they do sell it indeed, some sell (or rather ask) for $478 but this doesnt mean anyone buys it. Or- there may be some people willing to buy it at that price, but it would be odd as you can buy it for much less

Hi, I think it is easy to be misled by prices shown by sellers on Amazon and Abe books. I think some sellers just think of a number, double it add 50 and stick it on the sites to see if they can catch someone. I saw book that I have on Abe books for £250...I wrote to the seller and offered him mine for £50...they didn't even reply, I think that proves my point.

Good luck on Ebay, you may still be high at 99 Euros, a start of 50 might have been better, it will then find its own level-I see you have put offers invited.

By the way don't think I am trying to wrestle the book from you as I have my own copy....good luck anyway,

PS, I've never seen the German book, I assume the contents are different to the English one?

it seems all different also the photos.
The german version is like new.

As the others have said, the value is what someone is willing to pay. I have the book, which I got for $20 about 5-6 years ago.
