Your thoughts on photo quality especially valued...

A good likeness of O. Boelke and a nice representation of his peculiar shaped officer`s cap. The painting and quality of the pictures is excellent. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers, Martin

Thank you Martin - am I spelling Oswald's name wrong or are their different versions?
I've use Wikipaedia & Google ref to caption this, but my German is worse than my French ;)

Everything you paint is a marvel to look at, and to study. Your brush strokes impart such a realistic texture. I like how the Pour le Merite just jumps out at you as the real medal does. Atta boy Mike (y):D!

Hey Mike,They're looking great.
Have you painted any of the ICM ANZACS?I've been fairly busy since the start of the school holidays I haven't gotten much quality bench time, with school starting again next week I'm thinking they might be worth a look.
cheers

Hi Chris

Thanks mate, Happy 2016.
I've got the ICM ANZACs on my bench, impressed by each of them but not sur when I'll paint them.
Got a few conversion ideas I may try.

Stay safe,
Mike

Very well painted, as usual (both versions).
Photography is clear and precise ..... perfect for box art.

Cheers,
Andrew
Well done and the leather looks good.
Cheers

Beautifully painted Mike. Yet again those textures on the clothing are so realistic.
Top job as always mate!
Hi Joe, Andrew, John & Nick,

Value each of you taking the time to comment guys.
Helps give a sense of what others are seeing.
This is boxart & plan for an SBS article too if I can get my new camera to play properly (something wrong with my image resolution settings at moment :(
Will keep experimenting & update when I get it sorted.

Stay safe,

Mike

Hey Mike,
The crouched figure got me wondering about a minor conversion to a Mel Gibson type character in the movie Gallipoli. Alsoa great excuse to crank up Oxygen on the stereo.
