Lovely looking bust, really sums up the time and place with the 'fly behind the ear'. You can almost feel the heat and humidity.

Thanks Chris have tried to show various stages of light & conditions with lighting effects in my photos.
I.e. Bright noon day sun to early evening 'Stand To'

That's a bloody beauty mate , didn't think your busts could get any better ! Love the flies .
Nice .

Neil
Thanks Neil, lotta fun with this little guys & was keen to try to work out some way of showing the flies. At this scale they are big enough to build up. At 54mm they are only specks on shirt.

On to some bigger boxart busts now.
Will be another challenge to bring them to life too.

Trust all well with family.
Mike

Strewth Mike you have surpassed many levels of skill here with these.

You are setting new standards for us to shoot for.

Thanks so much for sharing, see you in September.

Such a shame we can't see the actual figures there.

You should dress up as a bust and sit still

Paul.

I thought the face was brilliant when it was the only item painted. Now, in its full context, it's truly stunning.
Also, the way you magically turn paint into what looks like actual clothing is amazing.
I am totally 'gob-smacked'!
Cheers,
Andrew

Goodness you guys are a crack up Andrew & Paul! :)
Thanks for posting.
Looking forward to saying "Hi!" later this year too.

I finished a couple of jobs WWI German subjects. As soon as I have time I will post them.
Right now I'm working on a subject Napoleonic 54mm.
In fact, even the whole '800 is a period that I appreciate very much.
:)
