My main thought is how do you manage to paint faces that small so well? Looking very nice (y)
Excellent textures as usual Mike.(y)
Mike, No other word but Excellent.
Outstanding work. Cannot figure out how you do it.
GREAT flesh tones
I'll be damned if that don't look like a portrait: Joe
Thanks to each of you guys - Graham, Carl, Bob, Sarge, SR, Joe.
It's an enjoyable challenge trying to replicate this uniform & sculpting in this figure helps.
Some subtle details not immediately evident when viewed in plain resin.
Painting is A steady process of building on these details with thin, tiny layers of acrylics.
Love those Copperstate figures , nice texture effect on the uniform .Did you add the medals yourself ?
Ta mate!
Yep got more CSM figures to do. This one comes with tiny etched fret with Pilot Badge & Medals.

Very wonderful work and amazing painting skill,Mike!!!:) I especially like to express the texture of uniforms by painting. Such an approach was in the past in the large scale bust model, but I saw it for the first time on the 1/32 scale.
