First up thanks everyone for taking a moment to express your thoughts, each one is valued.

Hi mate
Love the tones and the texture beautiful art work , looks like a lovely piece to paint from the step by step more please
Cheers Chris
Chris, yep neat little fellow & plan is I will continue to add to SBS as I close in on last one of the guys in this small vignette.
First class paint job, and good looking khaki colour.
Chris
Tip Top painting, bloody good conversion. Superb Khaki.
Regards
Hi Bob & Chris2 did try to vary every item of Khaki & buff on this little guy.
Thought it was important to show the variety of these as many photos show they weren't as "uniform" as we think.
Will add a note or two on this over on SBS to help share thinking there OK.
Boring ...I think not as Bob said
No more to say
Nap
very very nice
Great texture effects on the uniform and equipment!
The character and textures on this little bloke are amazing.
Love it, mate - keep those ANZACs coming!
Nap, Fabrizio, Rich, Nick - continuing to refine an approach to textures that look "right", not too overscale in appearance.
Almost as if one were looking at a photo of the real thing
Particular cherish this comment Matt as it is what I'm trying to achieve with each new project.
Great stuff Mike.
Gordon
This a marvellous piece of modelling work.
Oda.
Mate
Superb painting and texture Mike
Cheers
Al
If that's your idea of boring Mike, please feel free to bore me to death.
I love it mate, such wonderful precision with the details and texturing.
too my ANZAC brothers - Al, Tony & Nick.
Expect many more of our forebears, got a whole shelf of these to do yet, with only the odd punctuation for commissions - pilots or other WW1 characters. Will continue to push for balance between art & historical authenticity, something I know we each care about.

Stay safe everyone,
Mike
