Just recently I was thinking,....I wonder what Mike is up to, hadn't seen or heard of him for a while....what could he be working on?

and then.....

:wideyed:!

Your impeccable brushwork on this marvelous sculpt has resulted in an absolutely lovely, and hell of an eye catching piece!

Atta boy Mike (y)!

Joe

Dinovision79, John, Carl (again :), Gells, Jeff, Macca, Mark & Maxag - guys thanks for taking the time to comment.
I work in isolation down here in NZ from other figure modellers, so this feedback helps me understand how I'm progressing relative to where I've come from.

Stay safe,
Mike

Once again you make me smile Joe.
Decided I'd just get on with this project without too much IP here as up against timelines, domestic challenges & a new house build/move. Did pop a few shots on Facebook:

From now on, back to lots of little figures.
Expect to be on 1/32nd for rest of this year.
Will add these as I finish them.

Thanks mate,
Mike

Hi Marcin, Graham, Dave, TRex, Jim, Ski, Kurt & Edward.

Most humbled by your comments guys, thanks for these as each is fuel for learning on future projects.

Stay sae, Mike

Fantastic combination.. The attention to detail is incredible - the goggles are simply remarkable.
Cheers Huw

Hi Huw, interesting how different folk identify different parts of this bust.
There is a lot going on with it & googles were important part to get right.
Thank you for noting these.
Mike

That is terrific work Mike! He really does look alive. Great work on the harness straps as well.
Cheers,Adrian

Parachute harness was probably most demanding part Adrian.
I scraped off the raised detail & started from scratch on this.
Having actual ref was useful as was inspiration from Kirill Kanev, the true master of textures.
Thanks mate!
Mike

Wow!!
You've turned a Life Miniature into a Live Miniature.
Very, very, very well done.
Cheers, Andrew

Really special comment Andrew, thanks mate!
