A couple of years back I shared my work on an orginal 120mm figure sculpted by Phil Walden, master ANZAC modeller.
Backgrounder here for those who missed it:

Now I’ve finally finished the Captain & put him into his home designed by Phil many years ago.
Have a look - what do you think?

I can only repeat what I wrote in April 2022, when Mike first showed this gentleman: "Holy cow! Doesn't look like a model, but like the man himself come to life."
With the base it's even more true.

We're not worthy, oh master...

The painted figure looks fantastic but it is even better on its base. That really sets it off beautifully. Stunning work and inspirational as always.

Are you sure it's 120mm? Looks more like 1/6 scale to me....;) I have a couple of 120mm Napoleonic figures to do, I shall definitely try to learn from your treatment of this figure when I start them.

Thanks Nigel, yes definitely 120mm 1/16, although Phil’s figures do vary abit. Next one is 130mm.
I’m not sure Napoleonics, depending on campaign I suppose were quite as messed up as these Gallipoli guys.
I always do try to get figure to be representative of the location they are in, so tend to go for gritty subjects.
What era are your Nappies from?

Mike, you always make our jaws drop!
I’d love to get a better glimpse of your groundwork. The plants look great!
Andy
Thanks Andy & can imagine you’d like groundwork.
Plants are all natural vegetation to add variety, some taken from beach so naturally weathered. Tried to get them looking scorched & battle damaged from barrages.
Photo attached. Thoughts?
