Military Modeller November Issue

Hey All , after reading all your remarks about Military Modelling Euro edition I decided to buy one today . S0 I went to track one down how sorry I am to say the quality was disappointing, the pictures were fuzzy and out of focus and the colouring was mainly Blues and Greens(I think Adrian Hopwood took the pics and I think he would be sad to see what they have done to his pics ) . Are all the crap mags sent to Weston-Super-Mare as a clearance zone ?
Anyway while at the stand I looked through a few other mags and ended up purchasing Military Modellers November edition. This is a great WW1 edition, ok mainly tanks which I'm currently happy making , but there is a great step-by-step build of Tommy's War 9th Queen's Royal Lancer, and Andreas 1/32 nd Tank Fight on the Western Front 1916. A good one to pick up this month .

Hi Gordon, glad you enjoyed them, colour was a bit 'vivid' but I got the Andrea Tank fight done in 5 weeks to get it in the WWI special for November.

I was surprised to hear you comments on the Euro special mag, I know they didn't use the better quality paper, but the photos on my copy aren't blurred.
Maybe you did get a duff one.

Don't understand your comments. Mine arrived friday and I read it two times now. Pictures are great. Sharp and good color quality.
I hope there is next year another figure special.

Mark sorry I didn't mention it was you who reviewed and paint the Andreas 1/32 nd Tank Fight and Tommy's War 9th Queen's Royal Lancer . ( quote Mark Dollery I got the Andrea Tank fight done in 5 weeks to get it in the WWI special for November.) Mark that would have taken me the best part of a year to paint if not more !!!
Malc , Kevin and Marc I'm glad your all happy with your issues but believe me I would not have taken the time and trouble to drive into town plus cost of parking to my nearest WH Smiths to collect this edition only to leave it on the shelf if it had been half decent . I understand that the paper is not the quality it was but I do expect to make out the pictures and when everything has a blue and green hue. I guess someone along the production line has gone to lunch . On the upside I ended up with a great Issue from another publisher
