Hi JW, Thanks for commenting! Yes, the workshop definitely had its effect. One of the many things I liked about it was the opportunity to study Fernando's work in the flesh, on the figures that he brought with him. Another thing I picked up was the addition of very thin touches of colour accents. It really enriches things. For example, I used some red tones on the wrinkles of the arm, and some different yellows on the vest. I find it amazing what the effect is of such tiny features. You can hardly see them on the figure, yet suddenly it comes alive. Ernesto Reyes, also at PF, is a master at this and I love to study his work as well. So in short, I can recommend joining in a master painter's workshop to everyone. Well, everyone that likes figure painting that is...

Hi Daniel, Thank you very much for liking the figure and for your flattering comments! :)

Thanks a lot Steve!

Thank you John. Well, the colours on this one is what kept moving the finish line! I wanted to use some dark yellow, but then had to find other colours to match. I think I repainted the coat three times and the trousers and socks 4 or 5 times. man I got fed up with this. Next time I plan the colour scheme in advance.

Cheers,
Adrian
