Thank you Simon yes it’s a very interesting laying of colours. Ernesto really does a fantastic job. Greg Girault did a fantastic job on the sculpting. It’s going to look good when finished.

Wow, that is great. I would be too nervous to try to replicate this, mine would probably look more clown like. I take it that the medium is acrylic?

Hi everyone thank you for the kind comments, we can’t wait to see it finished too he’s doing a fantastic job.

Melanie, I’m sure you would do a great job on him, nothing ventured nothing gained. Yes it’s Acrylic paints. I think he just changed up the way he lays down the base coats. Well what ever it worked.

There's a lot of character in that face and Ernesto has captured it perfectly.

Hi Malc yes it blew up very well from the 75mm design. We had to make him a bust as it just cried out for it. The fact that it’s such an interesting uniform study and a great face just made it worth while.
