WIP Mister BB from Kings Figurines

Hello,

As you might know now, a new série of figures is coming soon called "Guitar Legends".

The first figure will be "Mister BB".

I received yesterday the first samples.
I'll do the BoxArt.

I thought that a kind of Step By Step would be appréciated so you can see how I do paint.


The kit :

Figure cleaned and fixed to the base. I also did the plug from the guitar to the amp. The amp will not be on the base :

Airbrushed Undercoat with black.
Then applied with a brush, a mix of Jo Sonja Black, Valero black and Tamiya X21 Flat base :

Still with airbrush, I started to simulate the first lights with Valerjo White :

Bob, BB King and Lucille are 54mm and superbly done at that scale.
I've been lucky enough to enjoy BB King in concert three times and this piece will mean I can extend that to four times and indeed forever more.......great.

It will be soon available (when I finish the paint, soon I hope) at Kings Figurines.

Its à 54mm and will cost around 20 or 25 Euros.

Soon other great Guitar Heroes will come : SRV, Hendrix, Santana, Johnny winter.....etc......

This could be the start of a whole new genre… just think of all the outstanding guitarists there have been. And easier to research than most military subjects while offering as much chance to indulge in a bit of flamboyant colour.
