Greetings,
Coming soon in the next few weeks will be a 1/32 Mitchell crew
Kit contains six crew with four crew carrying parachutes and flight helmets.
Mike Butler assembled and primed this sample for boxart.

These are straight out of box with only small casting blocks cut off that's all.
Then superglued together for photographing.

Yiannis from YS Miniatures in Greece cast these for AC Models.
He has done a super job of capturing the naturalness & flow of movement Andy has achieved in this set.

These guys would look good as a stand alone set on their own, as Andy has included a nice bit of runway too.

Look forward to seeing first set painted up :)

Mike

Excellent set of figures, which will go well with the new 1/32 Mitchell from Hong Kong Models.

Let's not forget the boys of Bomber Command who night after night climbed into their aircraft despite a fatality rate of 45 % (my late father survived 37 ops as a Lancaster navigator, coming home on two engines from the raid on the U-boat pens in Brest).

Stay tuned Mike, I have a feeling we'll be seeing some soon ;-)

P.S. Last month I met a Bomber command vet. He was a Wellington tail Gunner.
He said he only did 17 missions, almost apologetically.
Then said he spent rest of war as a POW. I'm guessing his plane didn't land & then he got captured.
An amazing man & amazing young men....

YES something different!:)(y)
Great, amazing.....
Hopefully we have Andy !!!!
Not a lot of WWII American pilots in 1/32° , 5 with ULTRACAST, 2 with WINGS 32 (sculpted by... Andy Cairns-photo),1 with EAGLE EDITION,5 with MASTER DETAILS ( but sculpted to be seated in a plane.

Please more pilots like this Andy, we do not need the plane to make a diorama with figures like this.
