Great finish on the painting, you seem to have managed to get a nice smooth Matt effect right across the whole bust, what paints did you use and did you varnish over the top, really pleasing result, well done.

I did nothing I don't usually do...Old Holland are my go to oils...applied in as thin a layer as possible...all blended wet on wet....no sealers of any kind...and just the 'mail' in acrylic.
Only other small touch was to coat his eyes with W & N Liquin...which I do on all my pieces.
