Happy New Year all! Just a reminder that the first MMSI meeting of 2015 will be held on FRIDAY, Jan. 9, at Oakton Community College. Joe Berton and I will be presenting a slide show on World Expo 2014, and we hope other MMSI members who traveled to sunny Stressa, Italy will help contribute their commentary as well. See you there!
Also: As new editor of The Scabbard (thanks, Dick Pielin!), I sent out the first electronic mailing of our first PDF Supplement this morning. We still are working out the kinks on electronic delivery for these newsletters, which we intend to be more timely, periodic dispatches in between our regular quarterly journal, so if you did not receive it -- and you've paid your club dues! -- please email me at [email protected]. We need to get our email list up to date! (As for the dues, you can renew and opt for either electronic delivery of The Scabbard or old-fashioned and more expensive snail mail with the form included in the supplement or in the recent mailing of our annual calendar.
