My copy of this bust arrived last week and am I ever impressed! While WWI is not my usual period, once I saw this bust I knew I had to have it. And thanks, Dave, for the color photos . . . I was just about to post asking for a color reference :)

Lovely Painting Dave!!!
You have certainly worked you magic and brought him to life mate!

You should have started a new thread mate, rather post it on the end of this one.

Carl

Dave, i'm personally a great fan of your painting and Carl Reid's sculpting.
You two together give's something magic.
My Euro's are getting out of my wallet now i've seen this. As a WW1 addict this bust is coming right to me.
But I never get this painting on it. Keep it as a reference if you don't mind.

Marc

thanks very much guys, it was lovely to paint with the fit of parts being pretty damn good as well

Cheers

Dave

Just checked back on this one, and glad I did. Superb painting Dave and as Carl's already said it deserves it's own thread, perhaps an SBS .(y)

Cheers Ken

Thanks guys for all the positive comments. I'm glad you like it - I'm very pleased with it. Dave has done an incredible job on the painting. ...and of course Carl with the sculpting too.

Now that I have color photos, I'll be putting together a 'contact sheet' for color reference to be included in the kit and to send to customers that bought the figure with the temporary b/w label. ...also, a proper color label for the box is on the way.

Paul
